A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas Trailer 2011

CANNOT FUCKING WAIT. and omg according to imdb david burtka is going to be in it too. <33

Prompt: Buying two pairs of earbuds next week.

And to commemorate the occasion, I’m wiping my iPod out again and reupping on a backlog of beat tapes and instrumentals. It seems to be all I listen to with the occasional newest rap joint here and there ( Like Headlines. Because no fucks are given when that comes on.)

I can’t seem to stay with one job over the last few months. I’ve been bitching about it while I was away at Vermont, and when the opportunity presents itself…I shut up and get to work, always keeping peripheral vision on something better. I think that “something better” pisses off all my bosses, since they know I’m going to dip once I get that guarantee I’ll be reporting for duty somewhere else. What can I say? I’m allergic to minimum wage.

Also, I gave overnights a shot, and I’m not built for it. I’d rather fight with people than fatigue.

Getting back into my major has been better after all the months I’ve been away. I’ve been reading a lot and devoting a bit each day to what I want to do (Like a mix of interaction design and information architecture) and it’s really just me taking notes like I’m school again. It’s awesome, and one day it’s going to plop me in an office chair somewhere making good money.

That is, until I get my crosshairs on something else :P

Capcom Kills All Hopes for Mega Man Legends 3
Despite the efforts of tens of thousands of fans trying to get Mega Man Legends 3 back into development, Capcom is now saying they have no plans to revive the cancelled project.

“We are aware of the fan created Facebook page requesting that we resume development of Mega Man Legends 3. While Capcom has a built a strong relationship with its community and values their feedback, Mega Man Legends 3 development has officially ceased without plans to resume development.” —Capcom spokesperson Brian Keltner told Kotaku

Keltner also mentioned the Dev Room where Capcom explains their decision:

“There are tough realities in this industry that are largely left unpublicized for a good reason—because they’re tough. All games go through a multi-stage approval process, but most games are not brought to the public’s attention until that final approval has been met. With Mega Man Legends 3, exposing the fans to that process was part of the project’s core concept—to show everybody what it really means to create a game. We were all in it together here, for better or worse, and now together we must accept the outcome that many games ultimately face.” —Capcom Community liaison Greg Moore

Currently, there is a Facebook Page called “100,000 Strong for Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3” which currently has 36,836 people who liked it.

BRB, COMMITTING SUICIDE, GUISE.
And the thing is that fans (who are able to) will make their own sequel and it’ll get cease/desist’d by Capcom since an official game is too much for them. Apparently the company is taking notes from Sega.

‘comic-con groupies escape reality & leave others to save dark economy’

I think these comments say it best:

“This sort of bullying cannot be tollerated. I urge you all to share this video. Repost it on Facebook, twitter. Show people what you think. This sort of uneducated mudslinging has no place in any newsforum. Now we just have to make sure everyone sees it for what it is.”

“see kids, you can bully nerds no matter how old you are or how ‘professional’ you are supposed to appear!”

Not a lot on the internet has been making me genuinely angry lately, but this…

First of all, these so-called “Geekfests” GREATLY stimulate the local economy of which the convention is taking place. The hotels, street vendors, restaurants, convenience stores, and much more really rake in the cash at convention time. Also, after all the bullshit that artists in particular have been going through in this crappy economy, it’s a relief to have somewhere to go and actually make a profit off of your hobbies.

It also offers a place to meet you and your pals together from across the country. As much as I love the internet, I absolutely adore hanging out with my friends in person. Then there’s also the chance to meet new friends and even professionals. You can meet professionals and get tips from them about the industry and possibly new jobs! When it comes to getting a job in video games/comics/design, these conventions are the best places to go for that. You’ll never get a better chance to personally show off your creativity for everyone. Like Star Trek Lady said, the arts/entertainment industry makes life interesting.

Then again, perhaps we should go back to our basements and play dungeons and dragons to stay out of the way of the non-nerds who are doing such an amazing job of patching up the economy.

Nice diamond necklace, Bitch.

…I don’t think I have a GIF angry enough to express my rage towards this.

“what about the energy, couldn’t that be put to better use?”

First off..ISN’T IT OUR BUSINESS WHAT WE SPEND OUR SAVINGS ON?
It’ slike “oh these people spend THOUSANDS of dollars to go? Well shame on them for using their savings on a one time event once a year! If they have all that money they should spend it on the economy! Except I bet that woman isn’t spending any of her money herself! What a joke!

If I saw this lady on the streets I might just punch her. How much more discriminatory can you be? It’s obvious this lady is biased against the comic-con convention and the people that go there.

The women being interviewed did a good job keeping her cool.

If only ignorance was physical currency. The world would be financially stable.
